A United Nations and GEF initiative to raise awareness for the protected areas in the Orange-Senqu River basin.
The Orange-Senqu River Commission (ORASECOM) was established in 2000 by the governments of Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa, which share the water resources of the Orange-Senqu River Basin. The Commission provides a forum for consultation, sharing information and
cooperation between the countries.
